Singaporean Adventures
The cleanest city in the World is what this place felt like! Three days is all we had in Singapore and believe me when I say, I did not want to leave this place. We were staying at the Jen Orchardgateway Hotel which was right inside a mall!
Once again, we got our leaflets from the airport and decided on a couple of things to do around Singapore.
Firstly, we walked on the happening and bustling street in the city, i.e the Orchard Street where literally all the fancy shops and good restaurants are. We found Singapore really expensive including the public transports i.e. taxis were costly too.
We checked out the gorgeous Marina Bay Sands Hotel, no we weren’t staying there we just went to the top floor to see the most gorgeous view of Singapore! Oh and we had to pay for that too. Nothing comes free in cities like Singapore my friend.
Gardens by the Bay, another tourist attraction which was at the top of our to do list was be-au-ti-ful. We went there in the evening and whether you enjoy nature or not you will definitely like what this place has to offer.
This city reminded me of London quite a lot in terms of working class people, bustling city life and it just does not stop for a break…no one does!
The next day we decided of taking the cable car to Sentosa island, it was honestly worth it. Universal Studios is located on this island and we spent the whole day roaming around, going on rides etc. We really had a wonderful day that day! After spending the day at the Universal Studios we took the cable car back to mainland and took a taxi to China Town. The Chinese New Year had just passed and the decorations were still up which made the streets look so colourful! It was just fascinating to walk through the streets of China Town.
