    Sinusitis (Acute or Bacterial)

    Sinusitis is a common condition characterised by the inflammation of the sinuses, typically resulting from an infection. This inflammation can lead to various symptoms that affect the head and face.

    Sore throat

    Sore throats are a common discomfort often associated with viral infections such as the cold or flu, or as a consequence of smoking. In rare cases, bacterial infections can also be the culprit.

    Infected insect bite

    Insect bites or stings are not usually serious and get better in a few days. But sometimes they can become infected or cause a serious allergic reaction.

    Uncomplicated UTI (water infection) in women

    Urinary tract infections (UTIs) encompass a range of infections affecting different parts of the urinary tract, such as the bladder (cystitis), urethra (urethritis), or kidneys (kidney infection).

    Impetigo

    Impetigo is a skin infection that’s very contagious but not usually serious. It often gets better in 7 to 10 days if you get treatment. Anyone can get it, but it’s very common in young children.

    Shingles

    Shingles is an infection known for causing a painful rash, typically characterised by distinct signs and symptoms.

    Acute otitis media (ear infections) – can only be treated in-clinic

    Ear infections, especially in children aged 1 to 18 years old, are characterised by a range of symptoms that can be effectively addressed with appropriate treatment options.

    Our dedicated pharmacists are ready to offer expert healthcare advice and recommend over-the-counter treatment options. With many of our stores open after 6 pm across the UK, you can conveniently access support from a pharmacist at a time that suits you.

    Our pharmacists undergo comprehensive training, including the management of common health concerns, enabling them and their team to provide guidance on suitable over-the-counter medications for minor ailments.

    Should your symptoms suggest a more serious issue, our pharmacists can guide you to the appropriate healthcare professional.
