Yes. This is a private service. While our pharmacists follow the same high clinical standards as the NHS, there is a cost for the consultation and the medication, as these are not funded by the government.
Yes. Because this is a private service, NHS exemptions (such as being over 60 or having a medical exemption certificate) do not apply. All patients must pay for the private consultation and the medicine.
Your request is reviewed by a GPhC-registered Pharmacist Independent Prescriber. They have undergone extensive additional training to be able to diagnose and prescribe medication legally in the UK.
With your consent, we can notify your GP of any medication we prescribe to ensure your central medical records are kept up to date. We highly recommend this for the sake of "continuity of care."
