For the 2025/26 season, the NHS provides free vaccinations to those most likely to develop serious complications from the flu. You are likely eligible for a free jab if you are:
- Aged 65 or over (including those who will be 65 by 31 March 2026).
- Pregnant (at any stage of pregnancy).
- Aged 18 to 64 with certain long-term health conditions, such as:
- Respiratory conditions (e.g., asthma requiring a steroid inhaler, COPD).
- Heart, kidney, or liver disease.
- Diabetes or learning disabilities.
- Weakened immune systems (due to disease or treatment like chemotherapy).A carer for an elderly or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if you fall ill.
- A frontline health or social care worker.
- Living in a residential or care home.

If you do not fall into the NHS eligibility groups, you can still protect yourself and those around you. We offer a private flu jab for a small fee, providing the same high-standard vaccine used by the NHS.
