Blood pressure checking service

Promote early detection of high blood pressure (hypertension) cases with the exclusive NHS service, currently accessible only in England.

Symptoms of Blood pressure

Hypertension, commonly known as high blood pressure, is a serious medical condition characterised by the heart consistently working harder to pump blood throughout the body. When left untreated, it can lead to the stiffening and narrowing of arteries, creating a higher susceptibility to the accumulation of fatty material. This can result in the blockage of arteries, leading to heart and circulatory diseases, heart attacks, and strokes. For more detailed information on hypertension, refer to the NHS website.
